Locations Serviced

As of 3/27/2026, I am currently only able to work in Contra Costa, Alameda, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz county. Until otherwise noted, K.EMPRESS will be unavailable in regions outside of the mentioned counties. Depending on exact distance, the price may be slightly increased.

Service Options

There are two services I provide at K.EMPRESS: Personal Chef and Meal Prep. Below is a more detailed description of each service.

Private Chef

As a personal chef, you will have my personal attention and care in the space of your own home, Airbnb, villa, etc., for dinner or a whole day. Before the day of, I will design and plan the meal(s) according to your wishes, whether it be a formal multi-course affair, or a casual family-style spread. Setup, cleanup, and service will be taken care of. I will cater up to 10 individuals at any given time.

Meal Prep

Don't have the time for a full sit down meal but still want something made with love and care? With meal prep, you can order prepared meals that I can directly deliver to you or you can pick up yourself. These meals can be selected from the provided sample menus. Meal prep service will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, with all orders being placed at least 24 hours in advance. Delivery will occur every day at 5:30 to 8:00.

Dietary Needs/Allergies/Preferences

Everyone has preferences in food, no matter how small they might be, and for some of us, that also includes allergies or dietary needs. I believe that everyone should be able to enjoy their meal, no matter the context. As such, I will be more than happy to accommodate any allergies or dietary preferences among your party.

When you fill out your booking form, please make sure to inform me of any allergies or dietary preferences among your party. Kindly ensure you have asked all guests so that there are no blind spots, and I will design the menu accordingly for both. Depending on the details of the accommodation, I may make a separate version of the dish for the guest, design something new entirely for them, or modify the menu as a whole if sufficient people require the same accommodation.

No allergies or dietary needs will ever cost extra, but preferences may cost extra depending on the scale of the request.

Limitations

Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, there will be things that I am unable to do or will struggle with accommodating for.

As of March 2026, I am the sole proprietor and employee for K.EMPRESS. I am the only person prepping, cooking, transporting, planning, communicating, serving, cleaning, etc. so while I will aim to perform these duties all to the best of my abilities, there will be times where after all, I am just one person. In addition, although I am lucky to live in the Bay Area where a great many variety of ingredients and foods can be found, some items I cannot practically purchase or acquire.

Certain substitutions will need to be made if I am unable to prepare the ingredients. While I will always accommodate allergies, preferences may be difficult, and as a bottom line, I will always reserve the right to refuse to provide service.
